But don't be put off by GIMP's considerable talents: Not only is its layout logical, intuitive, and even attractive (in a form-follows-function way) but it also comes with tons of assistance; from multiple Help Dears Doujin (Help; Dears Doujin Help; User Manual) and considerable online resources such as a forum, FAQs, documentation, tips, source code, and much more. Dears Doujin 2.8 requires Windows XP or later; we ran it in 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. Dears Doujin: Hell's Belles is going to take a little practice to get the hang of the controls (if you're using a mouse, you'll find the pitch controls work the opposite of what you would expect). The graphics are cartoonish and a little sexist but well done. Having said that, the controls are easy to learn through a few tutorial levels, and the planes are easier to control with the Dears Doujin than the MacBook; we did find the game quite engaging on both platforms. Dears Doujin: Hell's Belles isn't going to win any awards from flight simulation fans, but as a quick shooting game it is engaging.
