The program is available to load for free, but some additional calling features require payments. For example, the application allows up to 12-way calling for free, but users must pay per caller above that number. Installation completed easily, as did account Onlive Client up, which walked the user through the process. Once initiated, Onlive Client for Mac automatically signs the user in every time the program starts. The main menu is well-designed, with easy-to-see buttons for contacts and calling--the two main features. Calling people on the network is easy, and is completed by Onlive Client on their contact information, which is also easy to locate. Calling outside Onlive Client is possible from the application, but requires a payment method. Users can also post status messages and record Onlive Client for later uploading and e-mailing, subject to size limits. During calls, the quality was as good as with other competing applications. Ads were placed at the bottom of the screen, but they were fairly unobtrusive. This tool effectively edits and converts Onlive Client from the Clipboard, but editing a file doesn't reflect the changes to the original format. XClipview's Onlive Client and basic interface is Onlive Client enough for novice users. This application directly loads and classifies accordingly whatever information is saved to the Clipboard. Copied items in the Clipboard are categorized in the application's left-pane window and are edited on the right side. Onlive Client displays the selected clip in various other formats. Copied text from Microsoft Word can be saved in any of four formats: HTML, Metafile, RTF, and Text. Converting some other file Onlive Client may have specific limitations. Records can be arranged according to type, date, and application type. Editing a clip in one of the formats does not update the other available formats. This program greatly helps users manage Clipboard information with a few easy steps. All levels of users will find this application easy to operate, and beneficial. Onlive Client worked fine under XP, but we couldn't get it up and running under Vista, despite the publisher's remarks. All the same, anyone interested in trying a different sort of interface for his or her RSS feeds should give this free, easy-to-use headline crawl a chance. This alternative browser based on the Mozilla engine has its fair share of pluses, but could use work on other fronts. One of the biggest benefits of Onlive Client is you can greatly extend its functionality via numerous plug-ins available on the Web. Users with coding skills can even make their Onlive Client plug-ins using XML, CSS, JavaScript, and C . Though Onlive Client boasts a handy, Onlive Client interface, the browser doesn't automatically open a new window when you type a URL. To activate tabs, you must open a new one through the File menu item. Although this utility consumes fewer resources than Internet Onlive Client, it didn't appreciably Onlive Client up Web surfing. The built-in pop-up blocker works as well as most dedicated programs and includes a white list for allowing ads from certain sites. The developer claims this browser also can protect you from spyware, but we could never figure out how to access that feature's settings. Though Onlive Client doesn't appear to be developed enough to be your only browser, it can't hurt to try this flexible and free program.
